Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you based?

We are based in the lovely seaside town of Nairn, in the Highlands of Scotland. The nature of the internet means we can make websites for people all over the UK and beyond.

How are you able to make websites so cheaply?

We have worked hard to develop a system that means we can create websites quickly.

It starts with you. Before we begin making your website, we need you to supply all of the content that you want on your website. In our experience, the biggest reason for a website taking a long time to make is not having all of the content available.

That’s why our order form is so exhaustive – it means as soon as you fill it all out, we can get to work on building your brand-new website. This makes our life easier, and it makes your life easier.

Also, we do not currently offer advanced web design services – e-commerce, custom maps, advanced forms, etc. We may do in the future, but for now we are focusing on providing quality websites for a low price.

Is web hosting included in the £30 a month?

Yes, it is.

We insist that every website we make is hosted on our servers. From past experience, it is just easier that way. It means things are set up as we need them, backups run smoothly, and we are certain our software will work as expected.

How do you take payment?

We use a website called Go Cardless. It is a way to easily set up a direct debit, so each month the money transfers securely from your bank account to ours.

If you’d like to know more about Go Cardless, take a look at their website:

Who owns my website after you make it?

You do. You are free to do whatever you want with your new website, including transfer it to another hosting company.

We will not claim ownership of any part of the content, design or features of your new website.

If my website breaks, will you fix it?

If your website breaks through not fault of your own, then we would be happy to fix it. If it breaks because of something you did (for example installing a dodgy plugin), then there may be a small charge to fix it.

We take regular backups of every website we make, so the easiest thing might be to just restore the website to a previous state when everything was working hunkydory.

Is there a fixed contract?

No. You are free to cancel at any time, and you won’t be billed again.

Don’t like the website? Simply stop paying – you’ll only be down £30.

Can you guarantee that lots of people will visit my website?

No, afraid not. Having a website does not necessarily mean lots of people will visit it. We will optimise your website for search engines, but you need to do your part too.

Some suggestions to increase traffic:

  • market your website on social media
  • include it on business cards and other promotional material
  • tell people about it
  • hire a digital marketing company to promote your website.

Can I have a blog?

Yes, we can easily add a blog to your website.

But remember! It doesn’t look good when a customer goes on your website and finds your last blog post was 9 months ago. It is your responsibility to keep the blog frequently updated. If you don’t have the time, we’d recommend not having one.

I want to meet you

Well that’s very flattering, but at this moment in time, we do not offer face-to-face meetings. An afternoon of meetings takes time away from being able to design websites.

The way our order form is designed means we will have enough information to build your website, and you are free to email us whenever you like.

What if you show me the website and there are things I want to change?

That’s fine. When we send you the link to your new website, you will also be asked for feedback. If there are any changes needed, please just let us know.

Is a domain name included in the price?

Yes! You get a free or .com domain name included in the price. The order form asks what domain name you’d like.

Can I check how many people access my website?

Yes, you can. Every website we create comes in-built with Google Analytics. You can quickly check how many visitors you’ve had in the last day, week, month or year. You can also check your most popular pages.

This is important information because, for example, you decide you run a marketing campaign on social media, you need to be able to track its success.

My question isn’t listed here. What should I do?

Simple, just fire off an email to and we’ll get back to you in no time at all.
